April events, frontloaded!

Wednesday April 4 will be the first meeting of our new knitting group (3:00 p.m. until…?). If you are a knitter, join us. If you aren’t yet a knitter but would like to be, come on in! Bring knitting needles and yarn and any current projects. Instruction for beginners will be provided.

Book group meets Thursday April 5 at 6:00 p.m. We’re reading “Country of the Pointed Firs” this month. (Next month’s title: “Grave Matters” by Mark Harris, about the funeral industry. Come get a copy for the May 3 meeting.)

And next Tuesday April 10 at 5:00 p.m., join Lindsay Weirich for craft night. Leave with at least one beautiful butterfly. Examples of this month’s craft are currently brightening the library; stop by in advance to take a look at this month’s project. Remember to leave with a book.

Have I mentioned the download library membership is active? If you have any questions or need your card number to get started, call or stop by. Feel free to bring your e-reader. See you soon!
